Our School Garden

At Carysfort N.S., we are very proud of our beautiful School Garden, a space that has grown into a vibrant and nurturing part of school life. The garden was developed with great care and creativity, featuring sensory spaces designed to support wellbeing, spark curiosity, and encourage children to engage with the natural world in meaningful ways.

One of the unique features of our garden is that every class has its own plot. Pupils get hands-on experience in planting, tending, and harvesting, learning not only about nature and science, but also about teamwork, patience, and responsibility.

The garden is lovingly maintained by our dedicated Garden Team, supported generously by parents and families who give their time, expertise, and enthusiasm. Their involvement ensures that the garden continues to flourish and remains a shared space for learning and enjoyment.

We also have a garden notice board which keeps everyone up to date with the latest projects, seasonal tasks, and successes. From new seedlings to creative garden art, there is always something new to celebrate.

Our School Garden is more than just an outdoor classroom – it is a living, growing space where children connect with nature, each other, and the wider school community.
