The school staff would like to keep our Trick or Treat for Temple Street Halloween tradition going, albeit in a slightly restricted way this year……… the children are invited to dress up in their Hallowe’en costumes, but we must ask that these are clothing based rather than the more elaborate creations we have seen (and loved) in recent years.
Each child needs to be able to sit comfortably in their costume in their pod during class time and should be able to play and run easily in the school yard at break times. Similarly, face paint may be worn as masks will not be an option and we ask that children refrain from wearing wigs, carrying swords, wands, broomsticks etc.
Our drop-off and collection procedures will apply on this day and the class teachers will take many photos of the children in their classrooms and outdoors during the school day. In this way we can maintain the necessary distance, minimise the items being handled and still have fun dressing up and celebrating Hallowe’en.
Children may bring a treat in their lunchbox and we will have a collection box for Temple Street in each class should you wish to donate.
