Welcome to Active Week- an opportunity for us all ‘to come together while staying apart’.
We have decided to give the children a different focus next
week to help maintain student engagement and to lift their spirits. The
children will have a reduced amount of academic schoolwork for the week and we
will be encouraging them to engage in a variety of different fun physical
challenges. All our daily recommendations have been included in the weekly
timetables by each class teacher.
I am delighted to inform you also that third class parents
have planned a very interesting virtual walkathon around the
coast of Ireland for us! The walkathon (1km per day) is included as part of
your child’s Active Week timetable and each class group has been given a
specific part of our scenic coastline to walk, cycle, scoot or run!
