Saying Goodbye to Mrs. Linehan

On Friday 22nd November we had an extremely emotional day in school as we said goodbye to our amazing principal, Mrs. Linehan.

She was welcomed in the morning with a guard of honour, made up of children, teachers, and parents. This brought her to the dance mob led by Mr. Hamell in which children from 4th-6th Class all danced along to ‘Simply the Best’, ‘Celebrate’ and ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’.

She was then greeted by the Student Council who made a lovely speech about her time here in Carysfort.

Mrs. Linehan was then crowned ‘Queen of Carysfort’ and spent her day enjoying performances of songs and poems from all of the classes in the school at special assemblies. It was lovely to have her family here with us to share in the celebration.

We will all miss her very much, but we had a great day celebrating her time here in Carysfort. We hope you enjoy your well-earned retirement Mrs. Linehan!
