Carysfort National School - Discipline

In consultation with parents and children, the Code of Behaviour and Anti-Bullying Policies were revised during the year 2010.  In devising these policies, consideration has been given to the particular needs of this school.  The aim of the school is to encourage positive behaviour at all times.  The school places greater emphasis on rewards than on sanctions in the belief that this will in the long-term, give the best results.  Children are encouraged to respect themselves, all school staff, their peers, the school building and equipment and the environment in which they live.  The school is committed to a positive proactive approach against bullying and all incidents are noted and dealt with.

Full copies of the Code of Behaviour and Anti-Bullying Policies are available from the school secretary.
